Michelle Pfeiffer: Minor plastic surgery is OK

Michelle Pfeiffer would consider minimal plastic surgery.
The 55-year-old actress - who is known for playing sexy PVC-clad villain Catwoman in 'Batman Returns' and a several other alluring characters - admits she is open to having some cosmetic procedures carried out on her face, but for the most part, remains content to look like a mature women.
She said: 'It's OK that I don't look 30 or 40 any more. It's OK with me, it's enough for me. Would I like to look 30 or 40? Well, yeah! But, you know? We all get here eventually.
'If I thought it would look better, I would [have plastic surgery]. I'm all about, 'Do it so you can't tell it's been done.' You know what? I'm good with that. But I think people just want more and more until eventually that strange body dysmorphia happens.'
Michelle found fame in Hollywood as a young ingénue in films such as 'Scarface' and 'Dangerous Liaisons', however, as she's gotten older, she has started to feel pressure to look youthful on screen.
'The Family' star lamented to The Times newspaper: 'There's so much pressure to stay young [in Hollywood]. And one of the things about being on the other side of the hump is that it isn't easy to watch yourself age on screen. It's not natural and nobody should have to do that.'

Kelly Brook’s style icon was Madonna

Kelly Brook took style tips from Madonna as a teenager.
The 33-year-old model-and-actress says the 'I'm A Virgin' singer was her idol growing up and she always wanted to dress like her and she even copied her iconic 80s hairstyles.
She told the Daily Telegraph newspaper: 'I would buy tonnes of hairspray. I had a bad perm and would scrunch my hair. I'd go through a can of hairspray a week.'
Although she was fascinated by Madonna, Kelly insists her biggest role model when it came to hair and beauty was her grandmother.
Kelly said: 'My earliest beauty memory was at my grandmother's house. She was always into beauty products and I remember her teaching me how to cleanse my face using Anne French Cleansing Milk. Nowadays, my ethos is to take good care of my skin - but I also think that if you have a clear and happy mind, that shines through and makes you beautiful.
'I'm reading about the alkaline diet and that seems to make a lot of sense. But I also still love all things beauty.'
Kelly's biggest beauty secret is contouring, a way of using make-up to highlight and shade areas of the face.
She revealed: 'It gives you a completely different bone structure.
'Beauty boosts your confidence and makes you feel wonderful.
'A lovely dress and some lipstick can really pick up your mood - but get it wrong and it can be a disaster.'

Julia Roberts avoids the internet

Julia Roberts doesn't ever search for her own name on the internet.
The Oscar winner avoids typing her moniker into Google because she is too worried about reading hurtful criticism or negative opinions about her work and personal life.
Speaking about her aversion to looking up articles about herself online, she said: 'I have too much potential for collapse. There's an anonymity (online) that makes people feel safe to participate in hatefulness. I like a good old fashioned fist fight if people are p***ed off at each other. I just feel like if you're really mad and want to have a fight, then put your dukes up.'
Rather than sit in front of a computer, Julia would rather devote her time to caring for her family - husband of 11 years, Danny Moder, and their children, eight-year-old twins Hazel and Finn, and Henry, six.
In an interview in the new US issue of Marie Claire magazine, she revealed: 'It's my privilege and honour to cook three meals a day for my family, and it's a luxury on a level that I didn't even realise, because it can be relentless for me on some days. You have pride in how you take care of your family.'
Although the 46-year-old actress has had a phenomenal career in Hollywood she still gets star-struck and admits it took her a little while to get used to working with Meryl Streep in 'August: Osage County'.
She revealed: 'I had many imaginary conversations with Meryl about working together. When a person goes from being on a pedestal in your mind, to even cooler, better and more fabulous up close, you get to understand them a little more intimately.'

David Beckham ‘devastated’ by grandmother’s death

David  Beckham is 'devastated' by the death of his grandmother.
The retired soccer star and his family are mourning the loss of his 83-year-old grandmother Peggy West, who reportedly suffered a stroke and passed away in hospital in the early hours of Friday morning (08.11.13).
A source told the Sunday People newspaper: 'He is absolutely devastated. He and Peggy were very close. Becks spoke to her often. The whole family is grieving for a wonderful woman right now.'
Peggy, who was David's mum Sandra's mother, lost her husband Joseph in 2009 and had been living in an East London nursing home for the past two years.
The former England captain shared a special bond with his grandparents and used to visit their London home every weekend as a child while his father was working.
A friend of David's confirmed to the MailOnline: 'Peggy was suffering from a long illness, she'd had a stroke and was in hospital. She was on a life-support machine but sadly she died in the early hours of Friday morning. David is really upset. He was extremely close to both Peggy and Joseph.'
The 38-year-old sportsman took his sons Brooklyn, 14, Romeo, 12, and eight-year-old Cruz to watch the QBE International rugby match at Twickenham on Saturday (09.11.13) in a bid to cheer his family up.
David - who also has two-year-old daughter Harper with his wife Victoria Beckham - put on a brave face as he watched England battle it out against Argentina from the VIP box.

Julia Roberts praises pal George Clooney at BAFTA LA Awards

Julia Roberts honoured her friend George Clooney at the 2013 BAFTA LA Awards on Saturday night (09.11.13).
The 'Pretty Woman' actress praised the Hollywood heavyweight for his acting talent as well as his 'gifted prankster' skills as she took to the stage to present him with the Stanley Kubrick Britannia Award for Excellence in Film prize.
Speaking at the BAFTA Los Angeles Jaguar Britannia Awards in Beverly Hills, Julia joked: 'George Clooney, or as my daughter calls his, 'George Looney.' So, so honoured to be here tonight. And there are two obvious reasons why I was chosen to do this.
'One, Brad Pitt was out of town. Two, Matt Damon, he's in town but he was unavailable. I consider George a friend. We have worked together in many capacities. We have acted together a few times.
'He's been my producer and my director, all of which he is immeasurably gifted at. He's handsome, he's talented, he is an exemplary humanitarian and a gifted prankster.'
George, 52, was visibly moved by Julia's comments and was quick to return the compliments. The pair - who were last on-screen together nine years ago in 'Ocean's Twelve' - have recently been reunited in upcoming movie 'August: Osage County', which is co-produced by George.
The silver fox told Julia: 'It has been such a pleasure to watch the woman you have become. It's very hard for me to be just straight nice because she'll get me later. But just an amazing mother, an amazing wife and a great, great friend. It's really an honour to have her here.'
The old pals were seated next to each other during dinner at The Beverly Hilton Hotel, and spent the evening giggling and chatting. At one point Julia - who has three children with her husband Danny Moder - rested her head on newly-single George's shoulder, and kept a firm grip on his hand as the ceremony kicked off, but it was clear the pair were just good friends.
Other actors who were honoured at the star-studded ceremony included Sacha Baron Cohen (Charlie Chaplin Britannia Award for Excellence in Comedy), Benedict Cumberbatch (Britannia Award for British Artist of the Year) and Idris Elba (Britannia Humanitarian Award).

Azealia Banks: I’m the female Kanye West

Azealia Banks thinks she's the female Kanye West.
The '212' rapper believes she shares a spiritual connection with the hip-hop star and thinks no one else can even come close to their musical 'genius'.
She told ELLE magazine: 'Kanye is a genius. Kanye and I are like the same person but boy and girl. We're pulling from the same cloud, the same inspiration. We're both Geminis, we're the two premier avant gardists in hip hop music.
'It's just me and him. I think our consciousnesses are swirling around each other in some weird kind of way...'
The controversial artist - who has famously engaged in Twitter spats with Lily Allen and Lady Gaga - is also a fan of eccentric Chanel designer Karl Lagerfeld, who she calls 'Uncle Karl'.
Azealia said: 'He gave me some cute clothes and an iPad. I was like, 'Uncle Karl!' He's really interesting. And the people around him are really nice.'
The feisty rapper couldn't imagine living anywhere else but New York City because she can blast her music at full volume all night without anyone caring.
She explained: 'I live in Washing Heights where I get a lot of bang for my buck. My dollar goes a long way! I've got a huge four-bedroom apartment for the same price that I would pay to live in a box in SoHo.
'I live in a really thick Hispanic neighbourhood so I can play my music loud because they love their music. There's no knocking on my door telling me to turn my music down.'
